Might be good for balance and definitely is good for endurance/strenght but the "sparring" aspect seems utterly pointless.
Wont it like teach you bad habits and bad technique ?
In my gym we kinda bunny hopped while crouching and we just threw punches. It was a real workout for the legs.
What you described, to me seems re****ed.
