is possible to put in the odd good performance when your past your prime... its not excuses, Duran lost to Hagler, Hearns & whoever else because they were bigger & better at the time of those fights, but its absolutely ridiculous to say that it was Duran in his prime years, you only have to look at the man that ruled the lightweights from 1972-78 & the welterweight Duran that beat Palomino & Leonard to know that he was a much better fighter then, its retarded to suggest otherwise.
Common sense alone tells you that a man that goes into the first Leonard fight with a record of 71-1 hasn`t got a whole lot of great fights left to give at elite level.
Duran doesn`t make just about every top 10 p4p list by accident, he earned it as one of the best fighters that ever lived.
