Re: Janne Katajisto - Danny Williams, 8.9.2012 Vaasa Finland
In Finland, we donīt have serious prospects right now.
All our decent fighters are on the level, where they are able to work a win over some has-been dudes like Williams or Giuseppe Lauri, but getting a stylish knockout win requires some Latvian bum.
Typical Finnish pro is 12-0 with 4 knockouts and his best win is over Danny Williams-type tank who stands there and has a good record in terms of numbers.
Right now, you can really see AMIN ASIKAINEN was exceptional talent for pro boxing. For now, we just have a pile of decent fighters who are unable to seriously tune in for PRO ranks and just stand there collecting points against overmatched opponents.
Haapoja has the spirit, sure, but not the skills.
Iīm wondering, how long will these guys have the motivation to prepare themselves over several months of training, just to beat some 18-14 journeyman, who is lightyears away from the fights they are aiming at?
