However, Germany is notorious for taking it a step further and having refs completely control the fight to make it very hard for the opposing fighter to win. Yes, Randy Neumann is a great example of one instance, but there are many others (pick any Ottke fight).
Ever seen any of Kimbo Slice's or Brian Nielsen's fights?
There are also some seriously dodgy goings on in Brazil, Latvia and many African countries.
There are plenty of clear examples of fighters taking dives. Not at the top level, but when it comes to padding records there are plenty.
