Hearns was a true warrior who always dug deep. Even early in his career against Randy Shields, a green Hearns came through a tough test. Yeah he was even in trouble at one point v Dennis Andries. Tommy knew his punch resistance was poor but he loved nothing more to get in the trenches and go for broke with opponents. Even in the Leonard 2 fight, Hearns was badly shaken in the 5th and 12th but he still fought through it. If he had Haglers chin he could have been the greatest of all time.
