You may be right but i think it depends on the individual.In my case its a pathological so when i do go over it hurts really bad.
Even when i was healthy when i went over it didnt feel right.
And i had very good technique of lifting of around 160 kg when doing parallels.
Thrutfully it is said that you load up the lower back even more which is not ideal as the training effect you would like to have is adaptation to your muscles in the legs and hips when you knees go over the toes.
