I'd imagine in some ways it'd be easier for a guy of that age. You kinda have your life on track. When your in your early 20s or late teens you have so many options it confuses you. When your 27, you probably put in your 40 hours of work, jog every morning before work, and then do everything else after work. When your young you have homework and work outside of school and unless you want to put all your eggs in the boxing basket then you can't properly dedicate yourself to it. To be honest, when I was in high school, I had so much homework I had to give up sports entirely by grade 12 if I wanted to get into a top university, since I graduated I can do what I want. And I am hesitant to going back to another big corporate job that will enslave me and take all my time.
