Yes. You can't change your reach, and you can not change your build much in boxing neither, you just kinda have to work with what you have, better get running. Typical heavyweight at the upper level of competition will be 6'3 and above. Ironically the strongest ones are generally below 6'3. Earnie shavers, sonny liston, langford, tyson, duran. Being a short guy means that if you weigh 220 and does your 6'6 opponent, you are presumably stronger assuming you have no fat. There are more advantages to a short guy imo. All you have to do is draw the jab move in quick and swarm. Judges will never give a tall guy a round over swarms when the jabs are just pitty pat.
