Sorry pal that Franken drew me in! I think Alan Rudkin was unlucky to to be in an era when he had to go away to face guys like Harada and Rose. Then along comes a wrecking machine in Olivares!
Today there's a good chance he would have picked up a belt. I always think nowadays apart from the real boxing fans he's probably greatly underrated a bit like another British fighter from back then Dave Charnley. They were both very good fighters.
