Re: Benn, Jones, Jackson, McClellan: who hit the hardest?
P4P or absolute?
Jackson probably had the most concussive punch at 160, although McClellan seemed heavier-handed (everything he threw seemed to hurt, even when it didn't land cleanly).
Benn wasn't as big a puncher at 168 as he was at 160, or maybe his opposition was more durable. Many of his stoppages were due to accumulation of punches, and quite a few fights went the distance.
People forget how hard Jones punched at 160-168. When he opened up and sat down on his punches, even durable guys generally fell over. Sosa, Thornton and Pazienza had noteworthy chins, and Jones got them out of there pretty quickly.
To me, Jackson and McClellan are pretty similar, and a level above Jones/Benn. even though the latter two could bang.
Probably go with:
McClellan, Jackson, Jones, Benn - switching Jackson for McClellan if going p4p
