He is faster and more explosive then Chael Sonnen, and has fought the very best wrestlers the UFC has to offer and handled them easily.
And who has he fought that's ANYTHING like Anderson Silva; a guy who could comfortable fight at 205. Beating Matt Hughes and BJ Penn is not comparable to beating a fighter like Anderson Silva, especially since Silva is huge for 185 and St. Pierre will be small for the weight class... and that's just the size disadvantage. We're not talking about a guy who is orthodox in his striking. We're talking about a guy who knocked out another human being with the sole of his foot. That's what St Pierre has to deal with. He's never been in the cage with a bigger man with the ****nal that Silva has.
Most importantly, this won't be one of Silva's fights where he's just showing up to earn his check and keep his belt. He'll be highly motivated to prove a point in this fight.
