Damn there really is absolutely no middle ground in this debate is there?!
It was a decent win against a fighter who was on the decline. He wasn't completely shot as people make Roy out to be at the time, but he certainly wasn't the fighter he was in his prime. That said, Calzaghe was hardly in his prime either, which lends a bit more weight to the notion of it being a decent victory.
I could go into great detail but I'd probs end up coming across as though I'm giving Joe too much credit which I'm not trying to. Decent win, nothing more, nothing less...
