I remember watching Royce Gracie vs Dan Severn for the first time, and I had no idea what a triangle choke was. Neither did Blatnick, but he noticed Severn was in trouble before he tapped. Blatnick saw it immediately, without knowledge of the submission, because of Severn's body language. Blatnick saw the change in Severn's hips and knew he was trying to get away. That may be unimpressive to some of you looking back, but I was impressed by the observation when it happened.
