I had enought of it.In my career i had at least 6-7 trainers that were saying weights are bad,punch wooden boards to make your fists strong,do 124124 push ups daily.
And then i go to the internet on forums to find an almost exact same thing.
I dont know where you are from Pecho, you must be from a big city to have access to 6-7 trainers. Hitting wooden boards reminds me of a Mexican fighter I once worked with. He was 18yrs old and was 18-0, 18ko's, his father an ex fighter himself, who had beaten Pipino Cuevas early in his career, made his own mitts, he pasted a circle of plywood on the hitting surface. He had two son's boxing and only the 18yr was a puncher. So much for that theory, look learn what works and what doesn't work and have an open mind, remember we all have the same goal to get our guys ready for whats to come.
