Default Re: Is De La Hoya overated?

Ah yeah, I've heard the register has a feature like that contained in it. I've got a source that actually has all of the monthly's and pegs by exact rating at the time.

Here's Ray Leonard, for example:

1978: Floyd Mayweather, Sr (No. 6 WW)
~ Ray enters WW ranks at No. 8 ~
1978: Randy Shields (No. 4 WW)
1979: Johnny Gant (No. 4 WW)
1979: Adolfo Viruet (No. 8 JWW) @ 147
1979: Tony Chiaverini (No. 4 JMW) @ 154
1979: Pete Ranzany (No. 5 WW)
1979: Andy Price (No. 8 WW)
1979: Wilfred Benitez (World WW Champion)
1980: Dave "Boy" Green (No. 7 WW)
1980: Roberto Duran (No. 2 WW) - LOSS
1980: Roberto Duran (World WW Champion)
1981: Larry Bonds (No. 15 WW) <-- they did Top 15 then
1981: Ayub Kalule (World LMW Champion)
1981: Thomas Hearns (No. 1 WW, Titlist)
1982: Bruce Finch (No. 6 WW)
1984: Kevin Howard (No. 15 WW)
1987: Marvin Hagler (World MW Champion)
1988: Donny Lalonde (No. 4 LHW) @ 168
1989: Thomas Hearns (No. 5 SMW) - DRAW
1989: Roberto Duran (No. 2 MW)
1991: Terry Norris (No. 1 JMW)
