Following his (KO 11) destruction of Don ****ell in June 1952.
The Middleweight - Randy Turpin did 'not' go on some unbelievable knockout streak,
as over the next 2-years he went 6-2-0 (1 KO) as a Middleweight.
Well, Turpin losing to Bob Olson the following year was not a good result for a man who had beat Sugar Ray just 2 years earlier ... BUT Olson was a better fighter than Don ****ell
The 1954 loss to Tiberio Mitri was seriously bad, a 1st round KO, some might say 'fluke', but who knows what was going on with Turpin at this time. He was still only 25 years old but on his way out. This is a man who would kill himself at age 37.
