Yeah, he looked tighter than Bieber fan *****...against Vinny freaking Maddalone.

With Rogan, he sleepwalked through a couple of frames before waking up to TCOB - so you can't really lump that in with the Maddalone thrashing as evidence of him getting back on form.

He's had one bravissimo outing since June 2011, and it was against maybe the 9th best opponent of his career - someone who isn't a real threat to any top 30 heavy. (and no, Koval never was)

Even going back to his best W on paper, Chisora - that was the most inferior version of Derek from all four of his losses. He was markedly better against Helenius, Klitschko and Haye (all three of whom he managed to hassle to some degree; getting flat out robbed against Robbe) - and even on that night Fury didn't have it all his way against a green Chisora who would only go on to improve by leaps and bounds at world level, arguably more than Fury himself improved since then even taking into account having looked masterful against Vinny freaking Maddalone.

Do we really think a rematch might not look different at this point?
