Did you happen to notice the date of that article? Of course Sanders was saying that then. He wanted a payday. There was absolutely no point in a fight by that point. Wlad don't even get credit for beating Brewster, it isn't like he would get any for beating that version of Sanders.

If you followed boxing AT ALL during that time, it was well known, common knowledge that Wlad not only persued a rematch, but actually tried to get the WBO to force it.
