I doubt Barkley will be able to stand up to the power. His only chance is to get to Jackson first (which I won't rule out, it'd be silly to rule it out) and finish him, preferably early.

Barkley is simply too open for counter shots, a former lightweight in Duran managed to plant Barkley on the seat of his trunks. Granted Duran could bang at most weights he fought at, still, Duran is a far cry from Jackson in terms of power.

Benn managed to clean up things in a single round, so in my opinion, The Hawk has to be the favorite.
good post. I am a little partial to Barkley maybe. He was such a hard worker, and his fights with Duran and Hearns were memorable for different reasons. Barkley's unpredicatable style and throwing punches during exchanges made him rather awkward. If he won it would be his size and awkwardness and willing to exchange which made this a pickem fight and like you said landing before Jackson could land his punch. Benn was faster than Barkley, but also faster than Julian I think. I have told many people it was not Julian's power which was so great, it was how he placed a punch and saw the correct opening. Even had a light punching fighter hit Norris as clean as Jackson did, he might have knocked him out with that same punch. It was perfect.
