When Daniel Geale took the Super Champion strap from Sturm and was then ultimately stripped meant that the Super Champion title does not currently exist. Or if he unify's with another belt WBC,WBO or IBF. IMO the WBA gives leniency to it's super champions who make the successful defences of their belt compared to champions that unify. Its a ugly situation created by Sturm and his putting off fighting Golovkin.
