Re: is Froch's resume really that great
It's unfair to criticize Froch's record because it doesn't have many great fighters on it; there aren't great fighters for him to face. The only potentially great ones is Ward and he has fought him & there's no shame in losing to him. The fact is he has beaten some real World Class fighters and never ducks a challenge. That's to be admired in the modern day era.
Looking at his actual run, no one is ever going to convince me he beat Dirrell I'm afraid so he gets no credit for that from me but linked to that, I also thought he nicked it against Kessler and was a bit unlucky there. Johnson was an expected victory but Bute, Abraham and Pascal were all very good wins whilst I think the Taylor KO deserves more credit than it sometimes gets.
I think Froch is a credit to British boxing and look forward to whatever he's got lined up next.
