Beginner footwork
So I've been training for a little over a month now, and I feel like I'm making good progress. I feel a lot more comfortable with the various bags, but I still feel a little awkward shadow boxing. I can stand there and throw, but I have a feeling that I should be moving more. I can side-step, cut out at an angle, shuffle forward while jabbing, shuffle 1-2, and pivot between combinations. I also find myself planting my feet very often.
This alone won't make me slick. What other movements can I add to my shadow boxing and heavy bag routines?
P.S. I'm a southpaw
