I think some people are getting carried away. He had a fight. He was bad on the night and Froch was great. He got KO'd in a humiliating way.

So why are people so sure he wouldn't want the rematch? There are probably (in his mind) good reasons as to why he under-performed on the night.

Other people lose fights, sometimes in a bad way, and a rematch would be what they'd want and fans wouldn't think it all that odd, but with Bute v Froch there seems a broad agreement that a rematch will be some one-sided horrific beatdown. Might be worth considering that Bute will train harder and in a different way, no?
