yep liston was unpopular and clay even more so. no one wanted to be associated with promoting either fighter - one an ex-con the other a black muslim. most didn't care who would win as they hated both fighters. many expected liston to KO the big mouth in the rematch and thought clay got lucky in the 1st cuz of liston's injured shoulder.
