Jack Blackburn had a similar term for Louis' version of it, describing him as a coutner attacking fighter. Counter attacking, as in in offence as opposed to just counter-punching (although this usually is how each counter-attack begins). Semantics is not conducive to boxing though, but Blackburn's idea for Louis fits this 'drowning' mould well.
