Hmph, I really don't know either, other than I enjoy it.
Just started doing it casually with no intent to compete abt 1.5 yrs ago. Next thing I know, i'm competing (fight #6 this Sunday).
I actually have more reasons NOT to do it right now. But heck, I just enjoy it so much.
