I think 9-3, for Mayweather, was a fine score, 10-2 wasn't really bad either, honestly. It's one of those where the scoring system doesn't adequately reflect the level of competitiveness, because almost every round was one in which the loser still did good work. Giving Cotto a few more rounds may have been generous, but not unarguable, by any means. It was a damn good fight for one you could have so wide to the winner.
