Considering Oscar's ability to take a punch, yeah, it's going to be rather excessive. He's not going to be able to keep Duran in the slot, and once he gets inside Oscar's punching range he's going to get terribly sloppy punching downward at a smaller target who won't stay put and is shifty and fluid as all hell with his movement. Duran isn't in there just to make you miss. I can picture Oscar damn near spread eagled and looking completely discombulated at the terribly unpredictable punishment being dished out to him. A bit later he'll be biting on the feints and eating right hands and left hooks from distance.
