Im being harsh. I dont actually derive any pleasure seeing Shannon in his current state. But sometimes it irks me that as soon as some bad egg goes through some kind of hardship (OD, cancer etc), everybody seems to jump on the "He's a changed man" bandwagon. Based on what?


I remember the Chaser boys wrote a controversial song about this, ripping on the fact that as soon as someone dies, we put them on a pedestal. Effectivley shunning the fact that whilst they were alive, there were massive cockheads. It was an absolute classic in my books:

"Stan Zemanek was a racist jock,
A fatso xenophobic cock,
Whose views were more malignant than his brain."

"And Brocky was some revhead,
Who pumped the air with pure lead,

Stan Zemanek's wife called the chaser and begged them to leave the part about her husband out because she was still grieving. They put it in anyway which i thought was poor form
