i was thinking in the summer i'd go up this mountain every week. that they have for people to hike, it's a 3 mile hike uphill where you practically lunge onto steps up in the most painful way possible. I remember seeing the 1/4th sign of the way there and wanting to kill myself because there was no other way out.
that being said im fairly fit, enough to be able to go 4 rounds okay. I was wondering what the input was and if people even do this for cardio. I remember i had doms for a few days. If i trained at least once a week hiking and then running 3 times a week for 3 miles would this be ideal training? Im asuming that eventually i'd adapt to the soreness and would be fine but i woudnt want to be overtraining.
