Hard to answer with those 2 options because it entirely depends on the situation.
Although clear that a lot of the shot boxers out there are climbing in the ring because they have to pay their (high) bills, I think it's their own reponsibilty.
Most of them put themselves in that situation because of their lifestyle and they still have a method to get a steady income, wich other people don't necessary have.
Maybe if it's clear that the boxer's financial situation is completely not of his own doing I would consider it, because there are a few who were conned by their managers etc....
