It doesn't really matter if he was in jail or prison as he was in isolated containment. He never came into contact with other inmates. Ever. So jail/prison is irrelevent.

But I agree, can we stop calling it prison? It was fucking jail. There's a fairly big difference.

Nonviolent offenders (dui, fraud, tax evasion, etc.) = jail
Violent offenders (rape, murder, assault, etc... and drug offenders ) = prison
