How would you go about contrast therapy with a shower? Two mins hot then sudden cold for a minute repeated 5 times or so?
You can improve your resting flexibility more after a workout.
2 minutes cold, 2 minutes warm (or just out if you're in a warm environment) for 14-20 minutes total.
