No he didn't. I was given a few bucks by Stacy to drive Marcus to Tahlequah to fight Paul Marinaccio. Marcus didn't seem really all that intested in boxing. I got the feeling that it was a way to make side money. He'd just go to a fight to get KO'd and make a few bucks.
I did ask him how he thought he'd do against Marinaccio, all he said was "I'm the opponent".
At that time he was a "striking coach" at a local MMA gym also. I'm not sure what his day job was. Maybe a striking coach gets paid pretty well, not sure. That is the first and last time I ever heard that term.
He is a big dude and would easily crush any citizen who fancied himself a badass. But as far as contending against the world's elites, his purpose was to come in and lose.Takes ***** the size of a Zorb ball to go into the ring against the killing machines he faced.
