It comes down to what works for you.
I have friends that don't have breakfast in the morning, guess what, they survive the day. Some are big, some are small, some are stronger than me some weaker but they all survive. It comes down to what you want to do. Personally I always have breakfast as I feel like shit and have no energy if I don't, obviously some of my friends feel differently.
There are people that may need to work out what works best for them, bodybuilders, top class athletes, models that need to maintain low body fat etc but for the average guy (that includes most boxers on this forum) there's no big issue as to food timings.
