David Haye of today vs Ron Lyle (of the Foreman fight)
Haye looked great in demolishing Derek Chisora in his last bout vs Lyle, circa 1976) who fought a donnybrook in barely coming up short vs a rusty comebacking George Foreman.
Haye is more skilled. The men are similar in stature although Haye moved up to HW from the Cruiserweight division. Haye is also quicker by a mile. Both hit hard. Both have questionable chins. However, Lyle, to his credit came back and kayoed Shavers after almost being decapitated in the 2nd round. So I give Lyle the edge in the chin department. Hayes speed could be the deciding factor here. Speed coupled with heavy hands and immense punching power could spell Lyle's doom here.
