Looks like all the top 10 HW is Eastern European, and now lighter weights are catching up. How would they dominate in 1989, they had no promotional companies, no pro coaches and no sponsors at the time.
Not to mention there was a war going on in that region at the time.
Now, when EE fighter are established they dominate with ease.
