On a side note the two wrestling disciplines and Olympic weightlifting also take a bunch of talent away from boxing over there. Russia and her Soviet republics having created an assembly line of dominace in those sports as well. Judo is another sport that ]Russian Federation dominates.
Between other sports and a general lack of opportunity more potential pro boxing talent is culled over there than in the U.S.. A bitter pill for many to swallow. Unfortunately for people like Jabs, nobody makes a pill for a bruised ego |
