I disagree on your second point as well, people in general spend too much time barefoot for it to alter anything in an evolutionary sense over only a couple of thousand years.
Yeah I don't know, I was more or less just "thinking out loud"...i would be curious about ethnic differences of feet...like eskimos have to have been wearing shoes for 10,000 of years..i wonder if there feet are any different than those from africa?
