Mikes is known for tough sparring... Probably one of the toughest. Thailand is much more relaxed because fighters fight very often and can't afford to get hurt.. often this means the fights themselves are sometimes the same way, the first two rounds (of 5) in Muay Thai are always very relaxed and scored 10-10 by custom.. also lots of thais have agreements not to throw leg kicks so they can fight again the next weekend or after..
