Forget gaining weight to start with. Focus on learning the basics at the local gym. Then focus on becoming as fit as you possibly can, running, cardio etc.
You'll find your natural fighting weight and then its up to you and your coach as to whether you should gain or lose weight. I'd say if you are that tall and rangy at 10 stone, stay around your current weight and incorporate your physical advantages into your style.
