I think Rigondeaux is mainly talking about his amateur career combined with his young pro career. And yes, even though he is boasting he definitely has a very solid ground to. Rigondeaux was as dominant as he could be, the best amateur P4P fighter from 1998 to 2006 ( above Lomachenko and Shiming ).
If he manages to beat the **** out of Donaire on 4/13 ( which I think he will ), will he be considered the best ever ???
