Probably just pulled a calf muscle. Try using a roller to stretch it out. Reasons for pulled calf muscles could be too low of a sodium intake(if you are dieting and not eating at all and sweating alot) or not proper stretching before and after workouts.
I got myself a foamroller, wow how sore! might have overdone it first time but you can really feel where you are tight, it feels alot better now.
I'm still doing it every other day and going to start using it for other muscles...It's painful but enjoyable! in a weird way!
