I know what your saying but the fact is that if a boxer is in the condition he should be then boxing is not anaerobic...it is actually using the beta oxidation systen of energy demand and recovery and some lactate system as the fighters get into it.
If it were primarily anaerobic a fighter would simply shut down and stop firing withion seconds.
I'm a strength and conditioning trainer and have trained both boxers and mma fighters as well as most athletes.
