Magoo has shrewdly observed the weakness in Holmes' style (being jab heavy) when compared to an all-round skilled fighter like Ezzard Charles.
If Charles fought Holmes in Larry's own era, he would be bigger and heavier than what he was in his own time. Maybe 10 pounds or so. So Larry would still be the bigger man.
IMO, Charles would have the better of it in the first half of the fight and then it would begin to get interesting.
I am not sure, but I think Larry would pick up a split decision in a close, tough fight.
