He went onto talk about Rooney, who has remained the same and humble despite the fame. He said he and Wayne have similar personalities.
He mentioned how it must be twice as hard for Wayne to deal with the attention he gets. TWICE! Wayne Rooney!

WHAT? He said "twice"? What an arrogant ****. He should have sat down and thought carefully about the figure he picked out to say how much harder it was for Rooney. Only a total **** would dare use the well known phrase "twice as much"....
And he did not say he was a national hero even once. Not once. He said he thinks he has become popular because people can relate to him and see that he is not into celebrity and is just like anyone else.
