Most effective discipline in the clinch?
Judo? I really enjoy watching guys that practice no gee judo, have many counters to traditional takedowns, as well as some very dynamic moves that require timing and agility. Guys like Parisyan just amaze me in the clinch, he really gets dominated from range, but seems in the clinch and on the ground he has some extremely good moves.
Is this guy one of the biggest underachievers mma wise? I know he's very accomplished as far as Judo, but he's also taken his judo skills to MMA to great success, but has been dominated at range simply because he has no striking discipline. His ground work is quite good, has answers for every sub bjj fighters have thrown at him.
