Re: Most effective discipline in the clinch?
In a standing clinch I've got to be faithful and go for boxing. Because even a good boxer in the clinch will use illegal moves like forearms and elbows i.e. Tyson, Marciano, Floyd etc
To get you down and on the mat I say there are loads. I'd go with the main types of wrestling so GR, Freestyle, Judo and Sambo (I'm sure I'm missing one). Plus I'd include the JJs.
Parisyan is the guy with the awesome Judo throws isn't he. In his last fight he did some DIRTY throws.
