Yeah it's a possibility, though the likes of Mbaye and Malignaggi might have something to say about it (I don't like any of their chances against Hatton, but assume he may soon make a step back to welter in search of bigger fish). Witter's meet with Vivian Harris in September will tell us a lot more about where he stands in the scheme of things. Harris is a dangerman, shocking loss to Maussa aside.
Harris seemed to be very highly rated before that loss but i do rate witter. The winner of that could dominate for a time. Mbaye is not top level and malignagi has a little punch rate, mainly down to his hand troubles admittedly but it still is a weakness.
