*******s, the rear foot is not directly behind the lead foot. The guys says it on the video but the southpaws foot appears to be in the 'correct' position so to maximise lateral balance which is impossible if the feet are in line. Common mistake. If you squash your nuts when you throw year back hand your feet are in the wrong place. A good way to remember is that if you play football (soccer)- you should always be able to pass the ball to your opponent. This will improve your lateral balance and also the distance which you can throw your punches.
